Our Favourite Decorating Ideas for a Fairy Party

Beautiful decorations are the best way to set the mood when you’re putting on a fairy themed birthday party. Here are some gorgeous and easy-to-make decorating ideas that will transform any home into an enchanted fairy wonderland.

  1. Make your own woodland fairy crowns. This is a great craft project for kids, so why not help your kids to make them by themselves!

  2. Homemade chandeliers can totally change the look of a room, and they’re cheap and easy to create too. Use a hula hoop as the skeleton and wrap fake flowers (or real if you can) and vine around the ring before hanging from the ceiling. Pink and pastel coloured ribbons strung just above everyone’s heads create a beautiful scene too.

  3. Having a treasure hunt in the garden? These mushroom jars are cute and ridiculously simple.

  5. Paper butterflies are cheap to buy. You can attach them to low hanging paper lanterns, straws, wands or anything else.

  6. Hanging a white sheet creates a cute tent for your fairies to have a tea party under. If you have an old sheet you no longer need, or can find a cheap one to buy, why not turn it pink by washing with a red sweater.

  8. No fairy party would be complete without bubbles. You can hire or buy a bubble machine to fill your outdoor area with them.
  9. Don’t forget the fairy wings! Attaching them to chairs is a cute touch.
